We have been shopping at Mega Mazatlan for almost 10 years and most of the time were very satisfyed with the quality and the price for all kinds of produce, diary, bred, drinks, etc., and especially with the cleanliness and good organization of the store and good service from staff - very efiicient, friendly and helpful. While this store can be positively compared with most big box stores in the world, the other chain stores in Mazatlan (not mentioning the American chains) are not as comparable, although in them one finds more locally produced and consumed stuff. Definitely Mega will remain for us the nr. 1 store for groceries in Mazatlan.

Very disappointed with handling of problem, waited in all 2 hours then told to come back then waited 1 hour to be told Supervisor that was looking into problem of theft by cashier and Store Manager had left at 1pm and would not be back until 5-6pm we would have to come back a third time, the problem was a cashier took my money to pay for a purchase and I right away realized I gave her 3 - 200 peso bills when only needed to give her 2 - 200 peso bills for a 378 peso purchase she knew she had extra 200 peso bill but said she didn't speak English and carried on to give me only change from 400 pesos then she watched me to see where I was headed and saw me talk to sercurity who also said he didn't speak English no one could help me that day so I came back to speak to Store Manager with my receipt in hand so they would know which cashier to talk to but after hours of being told to wait while Sara a customer service manager checked into it we were told to come back in about an hour when we came back they acted like nobody knew anything about the matter and told us Store Manager and Sara had left store until 5-6pm it was then only 3pm so it looked like nothing was going to be done at all. I was not concerned about the money but how dishonest the cashier had been when she knew I had over paid her this did not leave a good feeling about the Mega shopping experience and we will continue to tell as many people as possible about our experience at that store to help others and maybe they will also think about shopping at other places such as Walmart etc.
